Positive: Stunning house and outside area, in a great location. Both very near the beach with it's restaurants and bars and yet very peaceful! Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Flexible breakfast, served per table so easy to take outside on terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff . Great parking space! Spacious and comfortable bedroom with very good bathroom and shower. Nice view from balcony. Overall, a great space to spend time relaxing or to use as base to explore Porto and surrounding areas. Although nearby beaches are not ideal for swimming - rocks, seaweed and waves, the long, well maintained boardwalk offers a delightful walk with plenty of opportunities for swimming as well as stopping for drinks or food.
Negative: The only thing we'd improve is the little shared kitchen area which is very small and not really a full kitchen. Just tea and coffee and a very small fridge shared by all rooms. When we arrived we wouldn't have been able to fit a single item in the fridge. Not possible to do any cooking, only microwave stuff. Breakfast is served on a gorgeous dining room and in the poky kitchen. On a good day you can take it out on the terrace, but if you're stuck inside, the poky kitchen might feel very disappointing as a breakfast space. One more suggestion, it would be nice to have a choice of pillows, including some thinner ones
